Vincent L. Tringali Obituary


Vincent L. "Vinny" Tringale died after a long illness at Woburn Nursing Center May 14th at the age of 90. He was born in the West End of Boston, raised in Boston and Everett, lived in Malden for 10yrs and Melrose since 1956. Vincent served in the US Army during WWII for the 182nd Americal Division in Guada Canal and the South Pacific. He was a member of the VFW in Saugus and was Past Commander of the Saugus DAV. Vincent worked for the Converse Rubber Company in Malden as a machine operator for 45 yrs retiring in 1976. He was the husband of the late Marguerite I. (Butchart) Tringali. Father of Paul V. Tringali & his wife Renee of Windham ME, Peter S. Tringali of Melrose and Linda S. Mulkerrins & her husband John of Braintree. Brother of Mary Notarangeli and Michael Tringali both of Everett. Grandfather of Jennifer, Melissa, Amy, Sarah, Samantha, Kiara, Melanie, Matthew and Jessica. Great grandfather of Zachary, Noah and Gabriel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thursday May 16th at 7PM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral service Thurs. evening from 5-7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. 36 Cameron Ave Cambridge 02140. Burial in VA National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday May 17th at 10:45AM. WWII Army Veteran.
