Richard A. "Richie" DiRaffaele died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on December 22, 2019 surrounded by his family. . He was 86 years of age. Richard was born in Somerville to the late Francesco & Anna (Carra) DiRaffaele, was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School and was a lifelong resident.
