Patricia A. (King) Anastasi, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Sept. 2, 2017 at the age of 92. Patricia was born & raised in Danvers and a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1942. She resided in Danvers until 1947 and Melrose since 1952. Pat was a devout catholic and member of the Church of the Incarnation in Melrose for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Milano Senior Center in Melrose and spending time with her cat "Mitzy". Pat contributed to many charities, loved to go to the Hilltop Steakhouse with her husband & brother and spend her time with her grandchildren & great grandchild. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. "Fred" Anastasi for 56 years. Loving mother of Paula Buehler & her husband John of Melrose, Mark Anastasi & his wife Paula of CT, Jane Kelly & her husband William of RI and Peter Anastasi & his wife Teresa of Melrose. Caring sister of Phyllis Runnals & her late husband Ralph of Peabody and the late John King and Richard King. Cherished grandmother of William, Christopher, Robert, Kathryn, Emily and Hannah. Great grandmother of Elizabeth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements by the Gately Funeral Home, Melrose. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
