Mary C. (Willwerth) Rosati died peacefully at Wingate of Reading Nursing Home on April 14, 2019. She was 81 years of age. Mary was born in Melrose on December 22, 1937 to the late Joseph & Mary (Keating) Willwerth. She was raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School and St. Mary's High School. Mary lived in Stoneham for several years but most of her life in Melrose.

She was a homemaker who went back to school to become an operating room technician and worked for Winchester Hospital for over 10 years. Mary was also a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. She enjoyed traveling and was always on the go. She participated in many charities; working at soup kitchens, making donations to poor children around the world and to animal shelters.

Mary loved spending time with family and friends. One of her great passions was decorating her home, making it inviting to all. She is greatly missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Rosati was the wife of the late Ronald P. Rosati. Mother of Ronald P. Rosati Jr. of Saugus, Lori Ann Lawler of Waterville, ME and the late Kerry M. Rosati. Grandmother or "Nani" of Jennifer McCaslin, John Sheehan, Jr., Jason Sheehan. Great grandmother of Maggie Quirion, Travis Sheehan, Joey Quirion, Alex Sheehan, Jaxon Sheehan, Jacoby Sheehan, Great great grandmother of Leara Sheehan, Declen Sheehan. Sister of Margaret Turner, Joseph Willwerth, James Willwerth, Diane Sirois, Gary Willwerth and Bruce Willwerth. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 8:30AM – 10:00AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, 9 Herbert St. Melrose at 10:30AM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
