Kristen Harmon, age 34, lived in Melrose MA, with her daughter Haley A Harmon and grandparents George E. Harmon and Elizabeth A. (Belmont) Harmon. She was a loving mother and a cherished granddaughter. Caring daughter of Michael Keniston of Medford and the late Susan Harmon. Sister of Ashley Keniston of Vermont and Michael Keniston Jr. of Medford. Goddaughter of Linda Murphy of Lynnfield. Niece of the late Philip Harmon. Cousin of Tyler Murphy of Lynnfield. Also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kristen was born May 6th, 1982 at Winchester Hospital, raised and went to school in Melrose MA, until she was 14 years old and then she moved to Arizona with her mother, late Susan Harmon. When Kristen's daughter was born, 2001, she moved back to Boston MA, and started school for nursing assisting quickly after. Kristen attended Lincoln Technical Institute in Somerville MA, in the licensed practical nurse (LPN) program. Kristen graduated top of her class, then worked at Mass General Hospital in Boston MA. Besides her love for work, Kristen loved and adored her family so very much; her family meant everything to her. She also enjoyed dancing; she loved music and could memorize the words to a song after listening to it only a few times. She enjoyed writing and poetry, and had a great sense of humor. She could always make everyone laugh and be happy. Her presence and personality could brighten up a room; she was an all-around outstanding, breathtaking, beautiful person. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Kristen Rest In Peace. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to "In Trust for Haley Harmon" c/o Bank of America, 1 Post Office Sq., Lynnfield, MA 01940. Arrangements by the Gately Funeral Home, Melrose.
