Kathleen M. "Kitty" (Faragi) Sylvain, of Saugus, passed away at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on August 8, 2018 at the age of 73. Kitty was born & raised in Saugus and attended Saugus schools. She was the beloved wife of Robert Sylvain for over 50 years. Loving mother of Robert A. Sylvain & his wife Rosemarie of NH and the late James W. & John J. Sylvain. Caring sister of Charles Faragi of Middleton, Mary Rizzotto of TN and predeceased by 16 siblings. Cherished grandmother of Dara Rose & Leah Kathleen. Great grandmother of Ryan, Natalee and Thomas. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 4-7PM. Procession from the Gately Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 14th at 8:45AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
