Grace C. (Morelli) Pavone died at her home in Melrose on May 10, 2020. She was 101 years of age. Grace was born in Boston on February 19, 1919 to the late Donato & Josephine (Filippone) Morelli, was raised in Malden and attended trade school. Mrs. Pavone has been a resident of Melrose for 70 years and worked as a traffic supervisor for the City of Melrose for 25 years.

Grace was a longtime member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield where she was a member of the Ladies Guild at church. She enjoyed sewing, going out dancing with her late husband Joe and their friends, taking cruises and trips to Hawaii and the Caribbean. But above all she cherished her times spent with her family.

Mrs. Pavone was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Pavone. Loving mother of Therese Hickey & her husband Kevin of Melrose, Lorraine Priestley & her husband Edward of Melrose and Joseph D. Pavone & his wife Bonnie of Revere. Cherished grandmother of Kerri, Joseph, Katie, Amanda & Nicholas. Proud great grandmother of Christopher, Chris, Kylee, Brady, Brianna & Riley Joe. Caring sister of the late Mary Ciardi, Carmen Morelli, Frank Morelli and Samuel Morelli. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation and interment at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Grace's name may be made to Local Heroes, P.O. Box 536, Wilmington, MA 01887.
