Gary G. Ingersoll passed away suddenly at his work in Milton, MA on September 26, 2017. He was 73 years of age. Gary was the cherished husband of the late Cheryl L. (Cave) Ingersoll. Loving father of Gary G. Ingersoll Jr. & his wife Jodie of Hudson, NH, Erik C. Ingersoll & his wife Kerrie of Haverhill, Laurie Hillson & her husband Bob of Andover, John Cottam and David Cottam & his wife Sonya all of Saugus. Beloved brother of Dennis Ingersoll & his wife Diane of Lynn and Paul "Skip" Ingersoll & his wife Sheila of CO. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his beloved companion & dog Remy. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 4:00-8:00PM. Followed by a Funeral Service at the Gately Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 3rd at 10:00AM. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. US Marine Corps Vietnam War Veteran. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Gary's name to all the animals affected by the recent storms to the M.S.P.C.A.
