I knew Courtney throughout her Shore Collaborative career and will always remember her lighting up any room she was in. She was a character -- funny, bright, so sensitive and tuned in to others, always smiling and laughing, and inevitably getting everyone around her laughing too. She is and will be dearly missed by all of us at Shore. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Courtney was always so much a part of Mrs. Manning's world and my heart is filled with sadness that she is gone. Courtney found a way into classrooms through Mrs. Manning. Stories of her were brought to life with occasional visits...a highlight for students. A big smile, heartfelt laugh and an easy and an ever present look of kindness are what I will fondly remember. Rest comfortably, Courtney, and know you left a subtle but strong message in the hearts of many. Sending love, prayers and healing memories that bring strength to you, Mrs. Manning.
