To all of Gladys' beloved family,
I'm so very sorry. I'm devastated to learn of Gladys' passing. She was one in a million!! So warm and welcoming, funny, loving, wise, artistic and nurturing. Just being around her or talking to her made me feel good. Oh how Gladys loved animals! She bred sable Burmese show cats and pets through her cattery, Bensha Cattery. She loved telling me all about her beloved and much missed Burmese cats, especially Madonna, but also Ivy, Megan and Barnabus plus your family's Dobermans. My husband and I bought one of Glady's male Burmese kittens in 1992. Our kitten, whom we named Mocha Java, was in Madonna's litter born on May 10, 1992. Glady and I were both friends with Theresa Seward, a Burmese cat breeder from back in the 1970s. I had the great pleasure of bringing my two Burmese cats up to visit Gladys at her house in Maine in 2011. When we last spoke in late November, we had been planning to go to a cat show together when she returned from Florida. We also liked talking about handsome Tom Brady and the Patriots. But now she has been reunited with Jack and her dearly missed family members, including all of her Burmese cats and dogs she shared her boundless love with. I love her and miss her. What a special lady.

Sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember after the family moved into our old house on Beach Avenue so many years ago, my Mom was always saying what a nice lady Glady was!

Rest in peace, Mrs. Murray.

Frank, Johnny and the Murray Family, I am so sorry for your loss.

To the whole Murray family,
The cliche she had a heart of gold fits Gladys to a tee. Sweet, kind, and SO easy to talk with. She always made everybody feel comfortable and appreciated. One of my fondest memories was when she and her husband danced at their 25th wedding anniversary to The Way We Were. A real love story.
As the video says she was truly angelic.
Love to you all,
Jack and Callie Foote

God and Jack have called you home, Glady. I picture you surrounded by your Mom and Dad, Warren, Baby Frankie, Lorraine, and all those Gullages, Quinn's and Murray's who went before you. I think Uncle Joe is already cracking jokes and teasing you for sure! Until we meet again, put in a good word for those who are left down here❤

Gladys, was a pleasure meeting you♥ Mary, always shared her love of you with me. Smiles. Seeing you at Tim's birthday party, and sharing a drink with you, so fun. You sharing your love of family and Florida, priceless. Loved your spunky ways. Knew I fit in, because I can be too. Thanks for coming into my life. God bless you and your family
