Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Frances by adding your memories.

Frances E. (Bradley) Flint died at the Greenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wakefield on April 6, 2020. She was 101 years of age. Frances was born in Boston on October 27, 1918 to the late Thomas & Madeline (Rothmund) Bradley. She was raised in Jamaica Plain, graduated from Jamaica Plain High School and has been a resident of Melrose since 1959.

Frances found her spiritual home at St. Mary's Church in Melrose and would quickly become a part of the St. Mary's Family. Mrs. Flint started her career working as a secretary at St. Mary's School before becoming the secretary at the St. Mary's Church Rectory. Frances was a fixture at St. Mary's working from 1975 until her retirement in 2013, at the age of 95. She was also a very active communicant at St. Mary's Church, was a choir member, a member of the Ladies Sodality and was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Mrs. Flint was a very gracious, warm and positive person all of her life and had a great sense of humor. She thoroughly enjoyed attending Plays, the Theatre, Polymnia Choral Society Concerts and going to the Melrose Symphony. Frances also loved to travel with her family and friends.

Mrs. Flint was the beloved wife of 40 years to the late Morton C. Flint. Loving mother of Mark F. Flint of Melrose. Caring sister of the late Edna Bradley & Madeline Bradley. Also survived by her adopted sons David Granai of Quincy & Steven Penella of Jamaica Plain as well as numerous other friends.

Mark,
Your mother Frances was a special woman indeed. I recall seeing this sweet lady at daily Mass in the chapel, and later realized she was your mom. She was very faithful and her legacy of faith is her gift to you. You enjoyed her company for many years and were very devoted. May she rest in eternal peace and may God give you comfort.

Our hearts are broken for the loss of Mrs Flint! Our children attended St Mary's school
And were blessed to have Mr Flint as one of their teachers! Mrs Flint was always kind and sweet whenever we visited the parish office for school
Or church matters! Rest In Peace and May God bless her family
