Condolence & Memory Journal

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing my condolences to his family. I fished with Chico when he was a member of the Malden Anglers fly fishing club .
I don't think he liked his nickname but it stuck, I was telling friends of his passing and they couldn't remember him until I used his alias. He was a good friend of my brother jimmy who passed a few years ago. He was a good fisherman, Tight lines in heaven Chico john collins

Lost touch with Chico after high school. Spent a lot of time playing baseball at Lincoln School and also played hockey with him. Good kid. Often wondered where he ended up. Sounds like he had a great life. I can vision Chico striking up a conversation with Teddy Ballgame. Rest in peace Chico from Jeep.

I moved next to Steve November 1st 2018. Right away we became good friends as we both loved fly fishing. Even on that late date, he still managed to take me out on his boat in November and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. Unfortunately, he was not well in 2019 and we didn't get out much but we did get out on his boat in September that year, perhaps his last time out. He was very smart, thoughtful, kind, always willing to spend time to talk and thought of others ahead of himself. He liked to fish but only to catch and release them. He was a strong environmentalist, thinking of ways to preserve, protect and make the environment better. I will very much miss him. My sincere condolences to his family.
