Eileen C. (McLean) Graham passed away at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading on February 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Eileen was born in Dorchester on February 9, 1930 to the late Joseph F. & Alice (McDonald) McLean. She was raised in Dorchester, graduated from St. Gregory School in Dorchester and from University of Massachusetts Boston (formerly Boston State Teacher's College) with a bachelor's degree. Eileen taught kindergarten in the Boston Public Schools for over 20 years. She lived most of her life in Boston, Melrose for several years before moving to Reading. Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Graham. Loving mother of Kathleen Jacobson and her husband Ralph of Melrose, Joseph Graham of Burlington and William Graham and his wife Julie of Medford. Cherished grandmother of Cheryl Yiatras, Paul Jacobson and Michele Neville. Great grandmother of Nicklas, Connor, Christian, Jake and Zachary. She is also survived by her loyal Australian Cattle dog "Tessa". A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Church, 9 Herbert St. Melrose on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Monday at 2:15 PM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Memorial contributions may be made in Eileen's name to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 309 Waverley Oaks Rd. Waltham, MA 02452 or St. Jude's Children Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Kathy, Joey, Billy and all your family, We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Eileen. She was a kind sweet strong woman. Always positive and pleasant. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. May your memories of all your great times together bring you through this difficult time. May she Rest In Peace with Joe.

Our hearts go out to Kathy, Billy, Joey, Ralph, all the grandkids and great-grandkids. We will always remember Aunt Eileen's kindness and grace in everything she did. We are so grateful for the lovely quilts that she made and they will be keepsakes for our lives and our kids. Best blueberry muffin maker in the world and the sweetest lady around! Sending so much love to you all.

Gen and I were saddened to hear of your mother's passing. No matter the persons age or how expected the passing may be it is always a terrible feeling of loss for those left behind. I know that you are a person of great faith so you know that she will be watching over you and your family.

We have been friends since kindergarten at st. Gregory's school in Dorchester. All these years we still remain good friends. I will miss our weekly phone calls Eileen. Rest In Peace my very good friend.
