Condolence & Memory Journal
Dear Scotty, Gregg and Glenn,
My thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow as you lay Mom to rest. I loved that woman! She was the strongest woman I knew and she was a Mama Bear when it came to her boys! She loved you three, Marie and her grandkids with her whole heart. She was one of the best of the neighborhood moms!
I'm sorry I can't attend her services, but you will all be in my prayers. May she rest in peace.
In sympathy,
Susie Daly

I only knew Ruth for a short period of time - she moved into Forestdale Park on my birthday in August of 2018 - she was indeed a very special gift. She made such an impact on our residents, staff and all friends and family that came to visit. She always shook your hand and was glad to meet you. She became known as "our nurse". She took new residents under her wing to make sure they felt welcome and comfortable. Anytime I took new people in for a tour and they met Ruth, they really thought she was our nurse. She made everyone feel welcomed.
I really will miss her smile and love. Forestdale will not be the same without our Ruthie. She was the life of our community, always the first one up to dance.
RIP Ruth - I will always hold you in my heart.
Love
Terri

We are very sorry for your loss. My family and I saw Ruth at least once a week while visiting our friend Inge at Forestdale Park. She adored our three children and always doted on them when she saw them. Ruth spoke so fondly of being a mother to her three sons and it was so clear that being a mom was her proudest achievement. She truly was a bright spot in our week and we will miss seeing her.
