Charlotte J. (Michalski) Nobile Linehan died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on July 10, 2019. She was 73 years of age. Charlotte was born in Chelsea on October 28, 1945 to the late Joseph & Mary (Lawnicki) Michalski. She was raised in Chelsea, attended Chelsea Schools and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston. Mrs. Linehan worked as a teacher's aide for 33 years at the Shore Collaborative School in Medford, but was most proud of being a mother of three and being able to stay home and raise her children. Charlotte lived in Revere for 27 years before moving to Melrose in 1992. Her roots were always in Chelsea and she continued to belong to the Rosary group and volunteer at St. Stanislaus Church in Chelsea. Mrs. Linehan loved to garden, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, taking trips to Foxwoods and spending summers on Lake Baboosic in Amherst, NH. Above all Charlotte loved spending time with her grandchildren. Charlotte was the wife of the late John A. Linehan and former spouse of Kenneth Nobile Sr. of Revere. Loving mother of Kenneth J. Nobile Jr. & his wife Danielle of Melrose, Kristine J. Rizzo & her husband John of Saugus and Kevin J. Nobile & his wife Deanna of Peabody. Beloved grandmother of Nikolas, Josef, Zak, Hailey, Kevin Jr. & Chloe. Loving sister of Joan Michalski of Clinton. Charlotte was also survived by her late husband John's children, grandchildren, nieces & nephews whom she dearly loved. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 2:00-5:00PM. Funeral procession from Gately Funeral Home on Monday morning July 15th at 8:45AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Church, 250 Revere St. Revere at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Memorial contributions may be made in Charlotte's name to the American Lung Association of the Northeast, 1661 Worcester Rd #301, Framingham, MA 01701.
