Grace F. (Moschella) Cappuccio Obituary

Grace F. (Moschella) Cappuccio passed away at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wakefield on April 3, 2020 from COVID-19. She was 87 years of age. Grace was born in Boston on April 22, 1932 to the late Michael & Frances (Pettinatto) Moschella. She was raised in Roslindale and graduated from Roslindale High School. Grace lived in Malden for many years as well as West Roxbury, Stoneham and Melrose.
Grace worked as a secretary for the Federal Government at the Federal Trade Commission for more than 30 years. She was once named "Secretary of the Year" and went to Washington DC to receive her award.

Gracie always found a way to entertain her company. As a young person, she played the harmonica and looked forward to weekly trips to the local drugstore to purchase the current Hit Parade song sheets and sing them with her youngest sister, Claire.
Throughout her life, Grace was the consummate conversationalist and story teller. Gracie loved socializing with her friends from work and her loved ones in her big extended family. She would often drop by for a cup of coffee and conversation that would last hours but felt like only a few minutes.

Gracie was a true a fashionista who took great pride in her appearance. Her passion for dancing took her to all the great dance halls, but it was at Mosley's in Dedham where she caught the eye or her late husband, Danny. Later in life, she enjoyed many afternoons of line dancing at the Milano Senior Center.

Gracie loved her cats and working in the garden at her home in Malden. Many good memories were made sharing a hot slice of Papa Gino's pizza that Gracie so looked forward to.

Grace was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Cappuccio. Loving sister of Claire C. Medeiros of Melrose and the late Mary Melanson, Lillian Quinton & John Moschella. Also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews: Elaine Jewett, Gail Moschella, William, Michael and Edward Quinton, Donna DiTullio, Mary Rubenis and Monica Medeiros, and many grand nieces & grand nephews.

Due to the new directive from the State of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Funeral Director Association and all the current health concerns, funeral services and burial will all be private.
