My deepest condolences to Jim's family, friends and colleagues. I had the pleasure of working with Jim for about 20 years as a supplier. The New England chemical industry will not be the same without him. He will truly be missed.

Jim: I'll be concise, unlike our countless conversations. You were a gifted leader and teacher who mastered every facet of your business. You were always focused on the customer and your people. You likely had the strongest combination of business skills I've ever seen, and you knew how to made a silk purse from a sow's ear. You were a dedicated father and brother. And, you were a dear friend that I will always miss. My deepest sympathy to Jim Jr. and your family. Godspeed, my friend.

I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Jim for several years and even more fortunate for the gift of his friendship. A gift, I will continue to treasure.

Jim you've been my mentor & friend for almost 34 years. I'll miss talking with you on a daily basis (that is at least 5 times per day!) and I'll especially miss your humor and doing everything in your power to make me laugh. Thanks for everything Jim. I'll continue to make you proud!

My heartfelt condolences to Jim's family and all his dear friends.

Jim was a man of character and principle with a deep regard for his fellow workers.
He was warm and had a great sense of humor with the ability to defuse even difficult situations to allow for a positive resolution.

He was always a good"sounding board" ready to listen and offer practical advice.

I will always treasure our relationship and he will be deeply missed.

Jim was a business acquaintance, and it was always good to see him, share a couple of drinks or a round of golf. He loved golf, loved Aruba, and loved his son. I don't think I ever had a conversation with Jim that did not include golf and his son.

After I moved on to other jobs, we've kept in touch over the years, just for the occasional phone call or for business. Jim often started his conversations by ribbing
